AlertNest Offers Easy Ticketing to Live and Virtual Events Throughout the US

The AlertNest App is Available on All Platforms, Now Reaches 2.5 Million Unique Viewers Per Month

AlertNest, Inc., the one-stop social neighborhood app that cuts through the noise to deliver the information and services to help people live their lives, now offers a simple-to-use ticketing service for live and virtual events throughout the United States.

"The ticketing service adds to our suite of go-to information services," according to Becky Wanta, CEO of AlertNest Inc. (www.AlertNest.com). “We have a mission to gather well-sourced data for our core neighborhood map services and, now, we've added our convenient, simple ticketing service.”

Ticketing on-sales are happening now and scheduled for sports, concerts and theater for November and December and into 2021. Users simply go to their location – or any other location – on the AlertNest map, look for the light blue event icons, click, select their seats and order their tickets.

AlertNest's approach to providing easy, valuable services free of charge has resulted in increased traffic throughout this difficult year of 2020. Traffic has reached a run rate of 2.5 million unique visitors and, Wanta says, “We expect this to continue to grow dramatically.”

AlertNest began operating late in 2019. Its free app is delivered through the web, on mobile devices and in specially designed iFrames throughout the national TV distribution network of Sinclair Broadcast Media Group (www.SBGI.net).

A Comprehensive Approach to Neighborhood Social Apps

The AlertNest map provides comprehensive crime reports and COVID-19 totals by zip code throughout the country, along with activities and events, including virtual events. AlertNest recently implemented an e911 service, providing single-click, automatic access to emergency responders. The company is adding alerts from FEMA into the mix as well.

“We're focused on delivering all the information our users demand in neighborhoods throughout the United States,” Wanta says. “We are emerging as the go-to app for people to learn about what's going on in their area down to their specific address so they may live their lives with this powerful individualized relevant information obtained from AlertNest.”

“Know your nest. Alert the rest,” Wanta says. “This has been our advice to users from the beginning. We are doing our part by delivering the most comprehensive social neighborhood platform out there, and we continue to build on it.”
