13 Ugly Men Presents "13 Ugly Sins" Annual Halloween Event

The 13 Ugly Men Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, is proud to announce another event as they continue to "party for a purpose." The “13 Ugly Sins” event takes place on Friday, October 28th from 8pm- 3am at the District 3 Arts & Events Center located at 802 East Whiting Street in Downtown Tampa. A limited number of VIP Tables are available (pricing varies) as well as sponsorship opportunities. For more information visit www.13UglyMen.com or call 813-304-2411. Interested sponsors can contact 13UglyMenSponsors@gmail.com.

The “13 Ugly Sins" event will play host to the best and most creative Halloween party of the year. The event will feature what the 13 Ugly Men have been known for since its founding in the mid 1990’s—some of the most fashionable ladies and gentleman in the Bay Area joining a crowd that will feature several full liquor bars, plenty of photo opportunities, and a sound and lighting arrangement that is truly state of the art. The 13 Ugly Men events throughout the year are filled with a fun, exciting crowd that understands giving back to the community and of course, partying for a purpose. The “13 Ugly Sins” party encourages the best Halloween attire you can imagine and photographers will be on hand to capture it all on the blood red carpet. Entertainment from several DJs in the various rooms and thousands of like-minded people make the “13 Ugly Sins” an event not to miss!

This event keeps growing year over year. Last year was an amazing event at District 3. We were able to raise a significant amount of money for charity and we hope to top it this year. "We always look forward to our signature Halloween event and to team up with the AFSP is really something that we are passionate about. They do great work and focus on something that people really need to be aware of.

David Moyer, 13 Ugly Men President

Proceeds from this event will benefit The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.AFSP.org ) which is a non-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.

As the foundation continues to grow and strive to help local charities in the community, the foundation wants to not only spread the word about the events and the cause it is benefiting but hopes others will take the time to get involved. Whether it’s writing a column, posting about the event on social media, or by getting involved through sponsorships and raffle prizes, the foundation appreciates anything you can do to help. About 13 UGLY MEN:

The 13 Ugly Men first began in the early 1990’s as a group of 13 members, and steadily grew to 31 members. Over the years, the Foundation has raised nearly a million dollars for deserving charities in the Tampa Bay area. The 13 Ugly Men’s passion lay with charities and organizations that support children’s issues, women’s issues, crisis intervention, law enforcement, and our service men and women. The 13 Ugly Men operate their Foundation with a 0% administrative overhead, meaning zero of the proceeds from their events go towards paying for operational expenses incurred by the Foundation in the normal course of business. In addition to the annual Halloween party, The 13 Ugly Men host other signature events throughout the year to raise money for charities every year. The 13 Ugly Men have been honored with numerous awards throughout the years, including the Champions for Children Award (2009), presented by Voices for Children, the Business Partner of the Year Award (2012), presented by the Tampa Police Department, the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero Honor (2015), and the Children’s Dream Fund as DreamMaker of the Year (2016).
