“There are benefits for the team as well,” she indicated. “Working cooperatively is an excellent way to build morale. This is compounded when the objective is something that everyone can get behind, like helping the community. “Organizing or participating in a holiday food drive is also a worthy undertaking,” she added. “It takes a bit of effort to sort through everything, but it’s extremely helpful for local food banks. Another possibility is to hold a contest with the prize money going to a local charity instead of the winner. You can potentially find sponsors for such an event. There are lots of ways to give back.”
