Z Flow Pro Wins Division; Advances to Finalist Stage of 2017 MN Cup

Company Recognized for Revolutionary Personal Protective Equipment

MN Cup Division Winner

Poma 22, LLC, creator of the Z Flow Pro™ helmet announced today that it has won its division and advanced to the finalist stage of the MN Cup, a statewide competition that recognizes Minnesota's best new entrepreneurial idea.

Z Flow Pro is a helmet with an invisible face shield designed for commercial painters, drywall contractors and construction workers. This patented product integrates a filtered air duct system into a hard hat, creating an ear-to-ear air curtain (or air armor) that deflects paint overspray, drywall dust, and other airborne contaminants from a user's face, safety eyewear or respirator.

I'm incredibly honored to have won in the General Division of the MN Cup competition. This recognition will help us bring our ground-breaking innovation to a wider audience.

Steve Perusse, Co-Founder

"I created Z Flow Pro because as a commercial painter, I struggled with toxicity and visibility issues from paint and overspray for years," said Steve Perusse, the co-founder of Z Flow Pro. "I'm incredibly honored to have won in the General Division of the MN Cup competition. This recognition will help us bring our ground-breaking innovation to a wider audience. This product will not only provide an extra layer of safety, but it's proven to improve productivity resulting in significant cost savings."

As the winner of its division, Poma 22 received $30,000 in prize money. They now advance to the finalist stage of The MN Cup where they will compete against seven other division winners for the grand prize of $50,000. Winners will be announced at a live event on Oct. 9 at the Carlson School of Management.
