Faculty in Global Health at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Annie Sparrow MD, MPH, is Deputy Director of the Human Rights Program and Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health. A Harvard (2004) trained Public Health specialist, Dr. Sparrow held the appointment of the Director of UNICEF’s malaria program in Somalia for the Global Fund against Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, before joining the faculty at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Sparrow is globally recognized for her work with the children who survived the Genocide in Darfur.
