Wisconsin Events' Philanthropy Promotes Team Building

Volunteers from Wisconsin Events have been giving back to the community during the course of the year. The President highlighted how philanthropic efforts boost team building and promote the firm's business

“Giving back is a major component of the Wisconsin Events mission,” said Angela, the President. “We recently participated in the March of Dimes 5K walk. Funds raised during this event support research to prevent premature birth and birth defects.”

“We had a full contingent at this occasion,” said Angela. “Everyone walked the entire route and had a great time.” The organizers declared the event a success. “Due to our dedication and teamwork, we were able to exceed our fundraising goals!”

The next event on the Wisconsin Events calendar is a project with Koos For Kids. Team members will be assembling and donating skin care packages to the foundation. “This wonderful cause helps terminally ill and disadvantaged children,” said Angela. “I know the founders personally, so I can vouch for their dedication.”

Koos For Kids helps children in many ways. The organization raises money to purchase needed items, such as winter clothing, for those in need. For those children who are ill, they host memorable events to brighten their lives. “One highlight of the program is meeting the Milwaukee Brewers,” Angela remarked.

Wisconsin Events’ Philanthropy Enhances Team Building and Business Results

“When we give back to the community, it feels wonderful,” said Angela. “Working on a project we care about boosts morale, and it inspires everyone on the team.” Over the course of the year, associates are given opportunities to engage in a variety of community events. “When people are able to make a positive impact, they become motivated to do great work. It’s a winning combination!”

Volunteering also provides team members with leadership opportunities. “When we are involved in a giveback program, it brings the best out of people,” added the President. “It’s great to watch new talents develop. People use their innovative skills in new ways.”

Additionally, social responsibility helps the company’s bottom line. “When customers see our associates helping others, it makes them feel good about doing business with us,” said Angela. “Helping the community improves lives, which spurs economic growth.”

Through the course of their work, the Wisconsin Events team functions as a close-knit organization. “We promote a collaborative culture, which enables us to work and play together,” said Angela. The team regularly meets outside of the office to enjoy social activities such as bowling nights, and attending Brewers games. “However, giving back is special for us. When we work together to help others, we know we can have fun and make the world a better place at the same time.”
