The American Society of Breast Surgeons Foundation Launches Clues to Solve Breast Issues Contest, Giving 100% of Contest Winnings to Breast Cancer Patients in Need

The American Society of Breast Surgeons Foundation (ASBrS Foundation), a 501(c)3 charitable organization founded in 2005 to improve the standard of care for breast disease, is launching a Clues to Solve Breast Issues contest this month to increase awareness and help breast cancer and breast disease patients in need.

We are excited about this opportunity to both drive awareness as part of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and provide direct help to breast cancer patients with one initiative. We're hoping this may give a boost to a few patients who may be struggling with the high costs of breast cancer or breast disease care.

Ryan Cliche, Executive Director

Anyone can enter the Clues to Solve Breast Issues contest. Contest participants must answer five multiple-choice questions about breast cancer and breast issues to be eligible to win the grand prize of $1,000 or three other prizes of $100 each. “Clues” will be provided for each question: articles from the award-winning Breast360.org patient education website. The free Breast360.org articles and their digestible take-home messages are written for the general public.

The question topics will include benign breast issues; breast imaging and diagnosis; risk, prevention, and genetics; breast surgery; and breast cancer. Answers to the questions and contest winners will be featured on the Foundation’s website.
