Westside Christian Academy of Detroit Welcomed Eric Patrick, a Product Development Engineer, to Discuss the Many Advantages of a STEM Education
Eric Patrick, a member of SME (Science of Manufacturing Engineers) Detroit Chapter 1 addressed the students at Westside Christian Academy in Detroit to explain the importance of a strong education in STEM.
DETROIT, April 5, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Mr. Patrick visited the school as part of Westside’s Master Class Series which focuses on a STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The Master Class Series is held on the last Thursday of every month at the school.
“The students at Westside will benefit from a broad exposure to professional organizations including SME,” he said, as he explained to the high school assembly the path to follow, beginning in high school, to become a product development engineer. Mr. Patrick is a graduate of Lawrence Technology Institute in Southfield.
