Waiakea, Inc., which markets its premium naturally alkaline bottled water brand Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water, is ranked 414 amongst the 2017 Inc. 5000 List's fastest growing companies in America. This ranking puts Waiakea in the even more exclusive Inc. 500 list, which has also included Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, GoPro, Timberland, Clif Bar, and Patagonia.

Annually, Inc. Magazine ranks the nation's leading companies according to their percentage revenue growth over a three-year span. This year, tens of thousands of companies were considered.

My team and I are thrilled that we made the Inc. 5000 and Inc. 500. We have dreamed about being on this list since Waiakea was first brought to life. I am incredibly proud of where we began and what we have achieved, and I am very much looking forward to what new accomplishments and innovations lie with the future of our brand.

Ryan Emmons, Founder of Waiakea

Celebrating an impressive 1,059.3 percent growth from 2014-2016, Waiakea will be among the elite companies honored at this year's Inc. 5000 Conference on Oct. 10 in Palm Desert, California.

"My team and I are thrilled that we made the Inc. 5000 and Inc. 500," said Ryan Emmons, founder of Waiakea. "We have dreamed about being on this list since Waiakea was first brought to life. I am incredibly proud of where we began and what we have achieved, and I am very much looking forward to what new accomplishments and innovations lie with the future of our brand."

Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water introduces a progressive triple bottom line business model built on a variety of healthy, eco-friendly, and ethical initiatives. Waiakea is the first major premium bottled water and beverage in the country to use innovative 100 percent RPET bottles and be certified Carbon Neutral for this and its many other environmental projects. In addition to an award-winning taste and alkaline mineral profile, Waiakea donates a week's supply of clean water for those in need, while also contributing heavily to local non-profits in Hawaii.

"Seeing our name listed amid America's fastest growing companies is only further proof there is more than one way to run a successful business," says Emmons. "At Waiakea, we have shown that it is absolutely possible for a business to flourish and still maintain its moral responsibilities to this planet and its inhabitants in the process."
