VR/AR Technology Company VirtualApt Featured as Keynote Speaker

Momentum Events is proud to feature VirtualApt as a keynote at their VRevolution event, this Friday. Virtual and augmented reality technology startup, VirtualApt was in development for 10 months before exploding onto the market, picking up a dozen large clients in the first month of sales. VirtualApt builds robots that move autonomously capturing 360x180 degree full spherical video that gives viewers the exact feeling of being in the space and walking around while having the freedom to look wherever they want. Their videos can be watched on all devices, not just VR headsets, without downloading an additional app.

The VR tours are available in multiple languages to reach a worldwide audience. Some videos also feature VirtualApt’s patent pending “Field of Vision Stop and Go” which allows the viewer to get a customized experience by turning the video into a 360 degree picture when they look away from the focus of the video. The hardware and software are proprietary, putting VirtualApt in its own category in the emerging and crowded VR/AR sector.

VirtualApt develops technology from the ground-up, allowing large multinational clients to customize premium content for their needs. The initial sectors of focus for the company are Real Estate, Retail, and Entertainment/Marketing, while noting that the technology has applications for every “real” experience in VR and AR.

Real estate newspaper “The Commercial Observer” featured VirtualApt’s technology as their cover story on Wednesday, December 14. The article focused on VirtualApt’s technology as the future for showcasing commercial real estate spaces worldwide. Also featured in the article on commercialobserver.com is a recent VR tour of a commercial space filmed for Eastern Consolidated, a recent recipient of CoStar’s Power Broker Awards as one of the top Sales Firms in NYC. Eastern Consolidated’s Brad Cohen, a Senior Director said, “Bryan and the team at VirtualAPT have created the most realistic representation of what it is like to tour a property. This is Google Street View on steroids.”

VirtualApt has been working in the retail sector with 103 year old American outerwear brand, Schott NYC. Jason Schott, Chief Operating Officer and the 4th generation of the family business says, “VirtualApt’s technology provides a one-of- a-kind shopping experience for our customers. Integrating the technology as a sales tool has allowed us to give our customers an intimate, one-on- one presentation of our products.”

Co-Founder and CEO Bryan Colin and Avenue Capital CEO Marc Lasry will be giving a 40 minute featured keynote demonstration at the VRevolution Conference this Friday, December 16 at the Nasdaq Marketsite. The speech is titled “Technological Achievement in Virtual and Augmented Reality” and will feature some never-before- seen technology invented by VirtualApt.
