Valerie Hill Joins Disability Solutions

Disability Solutions announces today that Valerie Hill has joined the firm as Account Executive. Valerie comes with ten years of experience in disability services and inclusion, including collaborating with businesses to connect jobseekers with disabilities to life-changing career opportunities.

Valerie joins Disability Solutions in conjunction with the expansion of their consulting services and product solutions. In addition to working with companies to design and implement successful disability hiring initiatives, the firm now offers a Career Center, website accessibility test, and training courses to engage both existing staff and potential candidates. 

The Disability Solutions Career Center and Social Outreach solutions are designed to ease company efforts to effectively reach and engage jobseekers with disabilities who may not be connected to traditional community-based organizations to support their job search and employment needs.

The Disability Solutions Accessibility Assessment provides companies the ability to identify short- and long-term opportunities to increase accessibility and the experience for applicants with disabilities.

Disability Solutions works with forward-thinking national and global companies who recognize the high-value talent pool and buying power of the disability community around the world. Valerie adds that “Hiring people with disabilities is smart business, not charity. We focus on creating initiatives that make sense for each of our client’s business needs with proven strategies and solutions.”

Inspired by her experience navigating the workforce with a learning disability and ADHD, Valerie will be focusing on introducing tools to corporations to get started on recruiting qualified talent with disabilities. Managing Director Kris Foss adds: “Getting started is the hardest part for employers, and Valerie will help these companies earn some quick wins toward building an inclusive workforce.”
