Two Exciting Events Coming to Lake Square Mall!
LEESBURG, Fla., June 19, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Lots of big things are happening at Lake Square Mall under its new ownership, including two fantastic summer events in honor of some of the local animal rescue groups and other charitable organizations. Animal lovers, get your calendars out and make sure to note these can’t miss events!
Blondie’s Sizzling Summer Adoption Event — June 23, 11 A.M. - 4 P.M. Join Blondie’s Angels for a full day of fun at Lake Square Mall— where one may just meet their new best friend! All adoption fees will be waived at the event, and the first 30 animals to be adopted will receive a free bed. There will also be a Doggie Summer Outfit Contest, where pet parents can register their dogs to walk down the runway for the chance to win some great prizes.
Blondie’s Sizzling Summer Adoption Event is sponsored by Petsmart and will feature adoptable animals from The Humane Society of Lake County, Lake County Animal Shelter, LEASH, and Misfit Animal Rescue. All proceeds will be donated to Blondie’s Angels and their mission to reunite all missing Lake County dogs with their families.

Charity Movie Premier and Red Carpet Event — July 1, 1 P.M. - 6 P.M. Lake Square Mall will be celebrating local filmmaking with the champagne-filled premier of Crocodylus, a new thriller filmed and produced locally by Michael McClaren and Across the Pond Film Studios. Hosted by Lake Square Mall and AMC Lake Square 12, this event will include a screening of the film as well as a charity Red Carpet Event. All proceeds will benefit The Animal League Wellness center which provides affordable veterinary services to animals in need, as well as We Care of Lake County, an organization providing uninsured adults with free health care.
