How Does the Procedure Work?
During the beginning of the procedure, a mold of the teeth is taken to create a custom-fit tray. Then the patient will be given safety eyewear and a cheek retractor to protect the gums from hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is a bleaching agent used to help whiten the customer's teeth. Laser beams are used to increase the heat which acts as a stimulus in the procedure and makes the process fast. At the end of the procedure, people will be able to see a visible change of the color of their teeth; it will be much closer to pearly white.
After the procedure, patients will be provided with a set of low doses of hydrogen peroxide that they can take home with them and apply for half an hour for seven days. Also, patients are advised not to eat anything that could stain them for seven days following the procedure. It takes approximately five days for the color of the teeth to "set" and the final color will be established after that period. In contrast, laser whitening is not as effective as teeth whitening, because stains can reappear more easily on the teeth.

1. Maintain oral hygiene; customers should brush their teeth at least twice per day.
2. Limit consumption of junk food, as well as foods high in processed sugars.
3. Maintain regular dentist visits.
