Titanium Eyewear Using Patented Polarized Technology Launches Soon on Kickstarter

INTO-KOREA is bringing Julio, premium eyewear that integrates a patented slim clip design for stylish eye protection, to Kickstarter on July 27, 2020.

CEO Kuk Hwan Ann of INTO-KOREA, a South Korean eyewear brand that has manufactured glasses for luxury European optical shops since 2005, is to soon debut a patented slim clip design along with his titanium Julio collection on Kickstarter. The series comes in four models and four colors, each of which will come with two protective clips, a clip case, and glasses case.

Ann holds a patent for the innovative design of his two slim clips — Polarized Clip and Screen Clip. These clips were designed to seamlessly align with the frame behind the glasses instead of having to be attached in the front, making the switch unnoticeable. The thin, Polarized Clip is particularly groundbreaking for those who require a strong prescription because the technology to polarize high-power lenses still remains difficult to find and afford. Slipping on a clip allows all users with any type of eyesight to easily access the proper protection of polarized shades.

Julio’s Polarized Clip utilizes nanotechnology to compress five coated layers into one for minimized glare and reflection of sunlight. It also protects 99% of UVA and UVB light rays while maintaining visual colors and contrast for an accurate perception of objects when outdoors. Its Screen Clip shields 84% of the harmful blue light emitted from digital screens, which provide a superior protection when compared to the standard 38%.

The entire collection’s temples are crafted from high-grade titanium, which guarantees a strong yet light build that remains safe on the skin. Ann expressed excitement in being able to deliver premium quality for a fraction of the industry price.

“As someone who relies on glasses myself, I know how difficult it is to choose the perfect pair that looks good on you, actually helps reduce eye strain, and won’t break the bank. That’s why I wanted to design a collection that’s affordable without compromising quality, function, or style. It started off as a greedy goal but I think Julio does a pretty good job of hitting all three.”

Pre-orders for Julio become available for a discounted Early Bird price during its Kickstarter campaign starting July 27, 2020. With Julio’s wide array of options, backers have the freedom to choose a model that best compliments their facial structure. INTO-KOREA anticipates shipping to begin in October of 2020.
