Three Networks Moving to Fidelity MEGAView Tier in All Remaining Markets

OWN, Outdoor Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Made Available to All TV Customers

Three popular TV networks will soon reach a wider audience with a move to Fidelity’s MEGAView lineup on August 2, the company announced.

OWN, the Outdoor Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries are changing locations on the TV dial in various markets in Missouri and Arkansas, moving from the MAXView tier to MEGAView in selected service areas. The move makes these channels available in all Fidelity markets.

OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, is migrating to MEGAView in Beebe and Maumelle, AR, and Salem and Sullivan, MO, as well as Gerald, New Haven, Owensville and other nearby Missouri areas where Fidelity provides DSL service.

Outdoor Channel will migrate to the MEGAView lineup in Beebe, Maumelle, Pulaski and Shannon Hills, AR, including the Benton/Bryant area, and also in Rolla, Sullivan, El Dorado Springs, Thayer, Gerald, New Haven and Owensville, MO.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is migrating to MEGAView in Lebanon, Rolla, Salem and Sullivan, MO, plus Gerald, New Haven, Owensville and other nearby areas where Fidelity provides DSL.

“It’s a great opportunity for more people to watch Hallmark and Outdoor Channel, which both have some great shows and really resonate with our viewership,” said Loren King, Video Product Manager. “And OWN adds more diverse programming to our channel lineup. The network has really picked up since Oprah left her broadcast show.”

OWN: the Oprah Winfrey Network is named for the popular talk show host who provides leadership in programming and attracts superstar talent to the network. Top shows include Tyler Perry’s The Haves and Have Nots, Greenleaf, Iyanla: Fix My Life, and Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.

Outdoor Channel features outdoors programming about hunting, fishing, Western lifestyle, off-road motorsports and adventure. Shows include Trev Gowdy's Monster Fish, Field & Stream's The Gun Nuts Presented by Smith & Wesson, Savage Wild, Flying Wild Alaska, Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures and Ted Nugent’s Spirit of the Wild.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries features mystery, western, and family-friendly movies and mini-series mainly from the Hallmark Channel library, notably original films that had once premiered on Hallmark Channel at an earlier date. The channel also features films from Hallmark Hall of Fame, Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures.

“When people call in, we listen to them and try to get programming out there that’s appropriate and meets their viewing needs,” said Andy Davis, Vice President of Programming & Vendor Contracts. “Making these networks available on MEGAView everywhere in our system is great news for our loyal customers.”
