Thought For Food Expands Its Global Leadership With New Team of Regional Coordinators
Top Talents Selected to Lead TFF's Next-Gen Innovation Program for Food and Nutrition Security in Seven Regions of the World
BASEL, Switzerland, January 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - The Thought For Food (TFF) Foundation today announces its new team of Regional Coordinators who will drive forward the organization’s overall mission to create a sustainable and inclusive food system by 2050.
The diverse group of entrepreneurs, researchers, consultants, engineers, farmers and academics have been hand-selected to lead TFF’s work in each region of the world: North America, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe & Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania. They will support TFF for a three-year term and are responsible for executing and advising on the organization’s overall strategy and program, developing strategic partnerships and managing a cohort of local TFF Ambassadors.
Each of the Regional Coordinators possesses the expertise and networks required to achieve Thought For Food’s goals and build the global movement. Throughout 2019, TFF will launch several new initiatives to augment its existing next-gen innovation program for food and nutrition security. These include the TFF Academy Digital Labs, which provide on-demand, continuous upskilling, support and collaboration opportunities for young food and agriculture innovators and entrepreneurs everywhere in the world, as well as the TFF Talent Hub, a tool that matches young people and their ideas and startups to career opportunities and investments.
