The Natural Products Association's 'The Big Natural' Conference to Offer a FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Course Hosted by UL

Course to be held June 5-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada

The NPA’s The Big Natural announces that UL will be hosting its first 2.5-day public course June 5–7, 2017, for FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food at the LINQ Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As a leading safety science company, UL has supported the natural foods industry for many years. In doing so, UL Registrar LLC has invested time and energy to ensure UL has Lead Instructors for the FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Course. These Lead Instructors have been trained by the FSPCA and instructed in how to teach the FDA recognized standardized curriculum. Successfully completing this course is one way to meet the requirements for a “preventive controls qualified individual” (PCQI). Attendees will receive the FDA’s current thinking and knowledge on the intent of the new FSMA regulations. Additionally, attendees who have completed the course will receive a formal PCQI certification from IFPTI to demonstrate the accomplishment both internally and externally.

UL is a partner with the Natural Products Association (NPA) and will be participating in the coinciding event, “The Big Natural,” on June 7–9, 2017. The Big Natural is the official annual event of The Natural Products Association, and the event’s profits will go directly to funding the advocacy and education efforts of the NPA and its memberships. This event will offer 15+ hours of training on many industry-relevant topics to ensure attendees become more prepared to develop or execute their growth strategies. UL will have experts in the field of Natural Foods, Natural Cosmetics and Dietary Supplements on hand for questions. UL will also be participating in panels and other speaking engagements throughout the event.
