The National Registry of Environmental Professionals® (NREPSM) Announces New Workshops Coming Soon
GLENVIEW, Ill., September 21, 2021 (Newswire.com) - The National Registry of Environmental Professionals® (NREPSM), the largest accrediting nonprofit in its field, has announced two online workshops for those seeking Certified Refrigerant Compliance Manager (CRCM) and Registered Environmental Manager (REM®) certification. The REM® workshop will be held from Nov. 4 to Dec. 16, 2021, and registration will close on Oct. 28, 2021. Participants may proceed through the material at their own pace. The CRCM workshop will take place solely on Oct. 20-21, 2021.
NREPSM provides 18 distinct environmental certifications, and the Registered Environmental Manager (REM®) certification is the highest professional distinction that NREPSM offers. Designed for professionals who possess the skills to coordinate and manage major environmental health and safety projects and programs, REM® certification prepares certified professionals to perform tasks such as environmental auditing, hazardous materials management and transportation, and environmental real estate assessment. The Certified Refrigerant Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification is a more focused specialization, one designed to acknowledge a professional's ability to comply with environmental and safety guidelines relating to refrigerant purchasing, handling, use, storage, and disposal.
Both workshops will take place entirely online. The CRCM workshop will be administered by software provider Sphera Solutions, while the REM® workshop will allow participants to access PowerPoint slides, pre-recorded videos, and an exam via SharePoint. Participants can also take the exam at a participating testing center, and an instructor will be available to provide one-on-one instruction during the workshop's window.
The CRCM workshop has a $100 application fee and a $200 exam fee. The REM® workshop will require a $150 application fee and a $695 workshop fee. Additionally, participants can elect to purchase an electronic study guide for $350, and exam retakes will cost $100.
