New York, NY, May 28, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Even though children and adults are accustomed to and enjoy playing computer games there still are times when a “real” competitive game that requires players to race to win at the finish line—all the while using colorful marbles is even more enjoyable. The Marble Grand Prix is a game in which two or more players build tracks out of wooden blocks on which they race marbles. The players build tracks out of wooden blocks and they can arrange and rearrange then in any order. The goal is to race marbles that roll down the tracks to the finish line first.
Each player has the ability to vary the design of the tracks and set it up in the order he or she feels is the best way for the marbles to swiftly make the finish line. Each game set comes with a batch of eight marbles varying in color and design. Some have faces and the special edition sets include the likenesses of pop culture's most popular heroes, villains, movie and video game characters. Along with the marbles is the package of 48 wooden blocks of various sizes and shapes. Some will be straight and short and others will be hairpin turns, or at angles. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating exceptional consumer interest in the Marble Grand Prix.
The Patent Pending Marble Grand Prix was invented by Marta Dewberry of Richmond, TX who said, “The Marble Grand Prix is a game that everyone will enjoy. Certain choices of the blocks that make up the track are designed to help the marbles pick up speed and players will quickly decide which works best for their marbles. It is a great game/race and will be enjoyed by both genders and all ages.”
