Texas Electricity Company Bounce Energy Launches Green Energy Promotions in Preparation for Earth Day

Green energy upgrades, new plan and incentive options and more educational content in store for customers of Texas Electric Company, Bounce Energy.

Houston, TX - The Houston-based energy provider is celebrating Spring and Earth Day by making all customers green, providing more incentives and guidance for new customers looking to power their home with green energy.

Through their "Everyone's Green in April" campaign, new and existing Bounce Energy customers will have their homes powered by green, renewable energy sources at no additional charge during April. There is no obligation for existing customers, as no action is required and Bounce Energy will make their April energy bill green at no added cost.

New customers will pick a plan, and Bounce Energy will provide a green energy upgrade at no cost. New customers have a choice from seven different energy plans. They range from long-term fixed rate plans, to month-to-month plans. No matter which plan customers pick, their electricity for April will be powered with 100% renewable energy resources including wind, solar, hydro, and biomass.

For customers looking to power their homes with green energy for the long term, Bounce Energy offers their Blue Sky Fixed 6 plan with an instant $25 bill credit. This plan will allow customers to lock in a low electric rate for the next six months (as low as 10.2 cents per kilowatt hour in Dallas area and 10.9 cents in the Houston area). Blue Sky Fixed 6 will power customers' homes with clean energy generated from renewable sources for the duration of their contract. Plus, via the Bounce Energy Rewards Program, customers will also be rewarded for on-time payments with their choice of movie tickets, companion airline tickets, bill credits, and a free month of electricity.

Bounce Energy also provides consumers with educational content via their blog. The Bounce Energy blog serves as a knowledge base for helpful green and energy efficiency tips that the electricity company passes along to its readers. Customers can learn how to save money on their electric bill and find different ways to be environmentally friendly by practicing conservation methods, energy monitoring and more.

Lastly, in May, Bounce Energy plans to launch another environmentally friendly option with their eBill program where customers can opt to receive paperless bills.
