Texas Electric Company, Bounce Energy, Offers Rewards Program Through Pinterest

Texas electric company, Bounce Energy, recently joined Pinterest. There they offer the chance for customers, both new and old, to earn $50 for each referral.

Already the most liked electric company on Facebook, and the first to allow e-commerce on the social media site, Texas based electric company, Bounce Energy, has set the bar high in the social media arena.

The latest addition to their social media arsenal is Pinterest, the increasingly popular online pinboard. As the latest thrill in social media, Pinterest is very much an outlet for the visual minded. Bounce Energy's Pinterest page provides followers with eye-catching photos, infographics, industry and company news, rewards and offers, and green living tips and tricks.

As a member of Pinterest, Bounce Energy is now allowing customers the opportunity to pin their Refer-A-Friend code to their Pinterest boards. For current Bounce Energy customers, it's as easy as logging into the MyAccount page and clicking the "pin it" button next to the Refer A Friend badge. Bounce Energy has provided the suggested caption (although it can be edited by the pinner) and all the pinner has to do is decide in which board to categorize the badge. For every friend referred, the customer gets $50 off their bill and the new customer also gets a $50 bill credit. The amount of referrals is not capped, and with the way Pinterest continues to grow, the rewards are endless!

Bounce Energy continues to be at the forefront of connecting with customers through social media, offering escalated customer service and unique rewards and contests at these outlets. Bounce Energy operates three distinct blogs with three separate focuses to appeal to customers: the Bounce Energy blog provides details about the company's services and programs; Bounce Energy Savings provides various ideas for anyone (not just Bounce Energy customers) looking to save money; and Project: Greenify extends a wealth of green living tips for people seeking to be more environmentally friendly. Bounce Energy also operates active Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Tumblr accounts, and regularly posts helpful service-related videos to its YouTube page.
