Swiftclean Announced HVR Contractor of the Year 2015

It has been announced that Swiftclean Building Services has received the award of HVR Contractor of the Year for the second year running.

Swiftclean Building Services has done the double by being hailed as the HVR Awards Contractor of the Year for the second year in succession.  At the HVR Awards ceremony, organised by Datateam Business Media Ltd and sponsored by the Building & Engineering Services (B&ES) Association, Swiftclean Managing Director Gary Nicholls was again presented with the Contractor of the Year trophy, just twelve months after winning the title at the company’s first attempt at entering these prestigious awards.

This second win recognises the fact that Swiftclean has certainly not rested on its laurels since winning the title in 2014.  The company had pushed on with advances in its service portfolio, in training, and in customer service.  In the twelve months since winning for the first time, Swiftclean has launched two new enhanced services, fire damper testing and local exhaust ventilation testing, both of which help its clients to comply with the law and to provide safer working and living environments for the end users of the properties which they serve.

Swiftclean has also put a large number of its specialist cleaning operatives through the B&ES Green Book training programme and now has more Green Book trained operatives than the rest of its industry put together.  The Swiftclean customer portal now allows more of its clients to access online the work completed on their behalf and to download reports which help to demonstrate compliance.

Additionally, Swiftclean has launched Swiftclean Support, an online resource for clients, prospective clients and other members of its own industry, giving easy access to compliance checkers, fact sheets, industry specific advice and direct enquiries.  The company is continuing to develop this as a new microsite

The company has also run several specialist seminars aimed at helping property managers to achieve and maintain compliance and has won several new contracts.  In addition, Managing Director Gary Nicholls was a guest speaker at the 2015 Facilities Show at the NEC providing an expert overview of Managing Ventilation Hygiene Risks in accordance with the second edition of TR/19, of which he was a co-author and member of the steering committee.

Swiftclean has also been shortlisted and highly commended in a number of other industry awards in the past two years.
