Sunny Isles Beach is Collecting Photos That Celebrate 20 Years and Beyond
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, January 18, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Sunny Isles Beach will celebrate 20 years of incorporation this June 16. The City is asking for photos from residents or visitors of Sunny Isles Beach landmarks, events, or special times throughout the years. Photos may be sent via social media hashtag, email or regular mail to the City.
Join in celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the City by sending in pictures of vacations, family outings or events. Photos of families enjoying the Sunny Isles that was the bygone era of Motel Row and weekend family vacations are of particular interest. Whether you have lived here for a lifetime, 20 years, or less, or even just visited, we want you to share your Sunny Isles Beach story. A collection of favorite photos will be chosen for display in a 20th Anniversary Video Montage. The video will be on display at the Anniversary Celebration in June, on sibfl.net and SIBTV.
Email your photos to sibphotos@sibfl.net or post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #BestOfSIB20. Photos may also be dropped off or mailed to Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. Hard copies will be scanned and participants will be called to pick up their original photos. For out of town submissions, photos will be returned only if the sender includes a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
