10th Annual Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest Tickets on Sale Now
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, October 11, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The City of Sunny Isles Beach is excited to announce tickets are now on sale for the 10th Annual SIB Jazz Fest main event on Saturday, November 18, from 7-10 p.m., at Gateway Park, 151 Sunny Isles Boulevard.
Headlining this year’s SIB Jazz Fest is The Spinners. This classic group performs soulful rhythm & blues, along with popular songs famous around the world. Enjoy this segment of the evening listening to familiar time-honored classics including “I’ll Be Around” and “Then Came You.” Original member Henry Fambrough, performs with lead singer Charlton Washington, high tenor Marvin Taylor, tenor Ronnie Moss, and bass singer Jessie Peck. The Spinners received six Grammy nominations, were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and received a star on the Hollywood “Walk of Fame.” Listen and sing along to the familiar tunes from the 1970s and beyond.
Opening the show on Saturday is well-known local singer, Lourdes Valentin. Lourdes combines unique musical arrangements, exhilarating rhythms, and song lyrics to tap into the emotions of her audience. Lourdes has been invited back on numerous occasions to perform at City events, a testament to her talents and broad appeal.
The second vocal act, Cornell Gunter’s Coasters-featuring Edwin Cook, is billed as Rhythm & Blues meets Rock and Roll. The original members of this international musical sensation were the first group inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, setting the bar high for future bands to come. Today’s group carries on the strong tradition of musical excellence by thrilling audiences at each performance both nationally and internationally.
Pricing for the concert is as follows: General Admission is $10 (bring your own chair or blanket), Reserved Seating is $20 (chair provided), and VIP Admission is $50 (includes beverages, food, and seating within the VIP area). VIP and Reserved sections are available in limited quantities. Tickets will be offered at the gate if space is still available. Gates open at 6 p.m.
