Sunny Isles Beach is Calling All Artists to Participate in the 3rd Annual Jazz Fest Poster Contest
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, August 24, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest is happy to announce the 3rd annual Jazz Fest Poster Contest with a $500 cash prize. Artwork submissions will be accepted between September 1 and October 2 at the SIB Visitor Center, 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160.
Last year brought out some truly amazing artwork to the SIB Jazz Fest Poster Contest and the City is on a search for the very best yet again. This is another opportunity to submit an original painting to be chosen as a lasting symbol of the City’s love for rich and cultural experiences. The winning artist will receive $500 and have a special ceremony recognizing them during the event on Saturday, November 18. This contest is free to enter and open to everyone.
Professionals and amateurs are welcome to enter the contest and it is open to all ages, residents and non-residents of Sunny Isles Beach. There is a limit of 2 entries per person. The submission must be a painting using watercolors, acrylics, or oil based paints. Marker, crayon, chalk, or other non-paint based works will not be accepted. Digital artwork is also not acceptable.
Painting must be at least 10” wide by 15” tall and have a 2:3 width to height ratio. Do not place any distinguishing marks (i.e. name, copyright) on the front of the painting. Because the judging is anonymous, a painting cannot possess identifiable information. A completed waiver form is also required to be submitted with the painting.
