Stenograph, LLC Acquires Reporter Suite
ELMHURST, Ill., June 19, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Stenograph, LLC, a leading supplier of productivity tools for the shorthand and manual speech-to-text market for 80 years, announced its acquisition of Reporter Suite, a robust invoicing and expense and time tracking application for the court reporting industry.
The addition of Reporter Suite furthers Stenograph’s expansion into value-added, SaaS-based solutions for the court reporting industry. The Reporter Suite software platform and talent, coupled with the Stenograph and recently acquired YesLaw teams, positions Stenograph to develop and provide its customers with a comprehensive suite of administrative and back-office solutions.
“We were very impressed with the passion, vision, and speed with which Mike Ellan and his family developed the Reporter Suite platform, and we are extremely excited to have them join the Stenograph team,” said Jeremy Steele, President of Stenograph. “Reporter Suite’s invoicing, payment and time-tracking software – and its scalable structure – provide the perfect platform on which we can build for future services. Our customers, many of whom are small business owners, are increasingly looking for ways to more efficiently manage their businesses so they can focus more of their efforts on revenue generating activities. The acquisitions of YesLaw and Reporter Suite further enhance our ability and commitment to deliver the innovation, quality, value, and services our customers want and deserve, and give us a huge leap forward in our plan to provide solutions to meet a broad range of customers’ needs. We are very excited about the future for Stenograph and the court reporting industry as we continue to pursue our vision of enabling our customers to be the best that they can be.”
“We at Reporter Suite are extremely excited to be joining the Stenograph team. They have been a household name in our family since I was a child,” said Mike Ellan, CTO and co-founder of Reporter Suite. “Our initial invoice implementation into Case CATalyst sparked many ideas revolving around ways to streamline our customers’ various processes. That was over a year ago, and the flow of ideas hasn’t stopped. We will now be able to fully leverage our strengths to do things that previously wouldn’t have been feasible. Onward and upward!”
While Reporter Suite will be collaborating and integrating specific product features with the Stenograph and YesLaw products, it will continue to operate as a standalone business unit in the near-term. The transition will largely be seamless to current Reporter Suite customers other than a change of registered name, contact information and payment processes, which will be communicated to customers directly.
Stenograph, LLC, founded in 1938, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heico Holding, Inc.
