Sebastian’s Career Closet 2.0: Tech-Driven Clothing Rental Company Hyde Announces the University of Miami as Its First Launch Partner

A Modernized Career Closet for the Next Generation of Leaders.

Sebastian Means Business

Hyde, a pioneering men’s fashion and tech company, proudly announces its groundbreaking partnership with the University of Miami. This strategic collaboration through the Toppel Career Center marks a significant step forward towards promoting eco-conscious and equitable opportunities by offering low-cost rentals of professional attire for all students.

This partnership is a testament to the university’s dedication to students in shaping a brighter future by encouraging a modern approach to sourcing career wear through Hyde’s inclusive, sustainable, and innovative business model. Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to speak with one of Hyde’s expert stylists, receive professional guidance on what to wear for interviews, networking events (on video), and complete outfits for rent. Most importantly, students can rent suitable clothing options for interviews or internships for 30 days and then send them back or keep what they love for a discounted price.

“We are thrilled to be the first university to partner with Hyde,” said Christian Garcia, Associate Dean & Executive Director at the University of Miami. “This collaboration not only provides students with access to more affordable, sustainable clothing options but also aligns with the Toppel Career Center’s commitment to fostering opportunities for more equitable and inclusive offerings on campus.”

Hyde’s Chief Product Officer Aaron Crist expressed his excitement about the alliance by stating, “Partnering with the University of Miami is a remarkable opportunity for Hyde to expand its reach and impact. We know when students have access and the ability to choose more sustainable options for clothing, they make the right decision and drive positive change in the industry.”

The University of Miami and Hyde are excited to embark on this journey together and aim to inspire the next generation of students to be the confident, conscious, leaders in their school and industry.
