Santa Claus Visits Heritage Bank in Covington, La.

Santa Claus made his annual appearance at Heritage Bank’s Covington Branch last Friday on Dec. 21 for “Santa at the Bank”.

In November, the bank began inviting local families to come out for the event and enjoy an afternoon filled with activities that included holiday crafts, Christmas cookies, and complimentary photos with Santa.

With each passing year, “Santa at the Bank” proves to be a highly-anticipated holiday tradition for those in Covington and all of St. Tammany Parish. Many families return for their visit with Santa each year, and there are always new faces waiting to meet him as well. Several of Heritage Bank’s Board Members even brought their little ones to join in on the fun for the 2018 event, making this event their biggest one yet.

Part of Heritage Bank’s mission has always been to serve the local community, so the bank’s staff has made their involvement during holiday events a top priority. The bank’s Vice President and Compliance Officer, Randy Ponthieux, dresses up in the traditional red Santa Claus suit each year, ready to let kids tell him about their wishlists and what they’re hoping to see under the tree on Christmas morning. The entire Heritage team was encouraged to get involved in this year’s festivities as well; tellers and other staff members dressed up and helped the children with crafts and parents with photo printing.

Heritage Bank invites all to share in their community events year-round; catch them at Sunset at the Landing Concerts in Covington every Spring through Fall, Shred Days at each branch during October for Community Appreciation Month, and Santa at the Bank in Covington once December rolls around again.
