The San Diego Business Journal has named UE.co’s Manager of Strategic Finance, Lauren Greenwald, a finalist for the 2018 Business Women of The Year Award. Each year, the San Diego Business Journal recognizes remarkable women business leaders who are making a difference within their companies and communities every day. These women are business leaders, mentors, and community activists.

A leader by example, Ms. Greenwald embodies UE.co’s core values in every aspect of her role. Despite balancing a bustling work schedule and community involvement, she is never too preoccupied to share her company knowledge or business acumen with her colleagues.

Lauren Greenwald could not be more deserving of this status as she consistently inspires others with her supportive leadership style, and is gifted in finding meaningful ways to empathize with her coworkers.

As a mentor for UE.co’s internal leadership program, Ms. Greenwald assists in developing future leaders within the company by providing coaching and mentorship on topics spanning from daily operations and revenue drivers to simple Excel lessons. Within the San Diego community, Ms. Greenwald has joined Accounting and Finance for Women association in hopes of empowering other female leaders in the finance industry. You can also find Ms. Greenwald championing UE.co’s partnership with the Special Olympics Southern California Division as she volunteers with skills clinics and runs drills with athletes.

Ms. Greenwald’s most notable achievement within UE.co is the effectiveness of her financial planning analysis and forecasting models. UE.co has doubled its gross revenue from 2017 to 2018.
