Partnership developed next-generation Omnichannel platform that will deliver billions in gross revenue to retail by enhancing in-store shopping with remote and touchless sales capabilities
SAN DIEGO, January 18, 2022 (Newswire.com) - S&P Data Digital and Home Improvement Trade Network Inc. (HITN), who earlier announced a new partnership, today launched their retail video-enabled Omnichannel sales platform that will connect retail shoppers with value-add service providers virtually and safely.
The partnership will leverage the Retail and Trade Services experience of the HITN team, including Paul Sorrentino, former CEO/Founder of Centah Inc., who powered many of the world's biggest retail operations' home improvement and installation services before selling to Goldman Sachs, to build a strong retail and home improvement service provider foundation.
S&P Data Digital, led by Founder/CEO Dan Plashkes, brings a track record of success developing proprietary technology that enables large-scale revenue-generating services. The partnership will work with retailers to sell value-added services via a virtual video-enabled contact center platform. The platform is initially aimed at connecting large retailers in the home improvement, appliance and consumer electronics sectors with service providers in adjacent and supporting industries, but has applicability to other large-ticket items and services.
