Registration for the MDX Cash Back Toll Dividend Program Ends on March 31
Miami, Florida, March 16, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Frequent users of MDX expressways have until March 31, 2016 to register for the MDX Cash Back Toll Dividend (CBTD). There is no cost to participate and registration is free by signing up at www.mdxway.com/cashback. Since open enrollment began in January, over 10,000 new members have signed up for the program.
The way it works is simple. Each fiscal year, July 1 through June 30, after the close of its financial books, MDX Board of Directors will declare a toll distribution of dividends to members of the program. This is after MDX meets its financial obligations, including making its annual principal and interest payments; meeting its senior debt coverage ratio and; covering its operation and maintenance costs.
Through the CBTD, MDX Board of Directors wants to ensure that its loyal customers who have invested their toll dollars to pay for the cost of improvements on MDX expressways are the direct beneficiary of the agency’s efficiencies. By giving money back to its customers, MDX is making the cost of tolls lower for drivers on the agency’s five expressways – SR 112/Airport Expressway, SR 836/Dolphin Expressway, SR 874/Don Shula Expressway, SR 878/Snapper Creek Expressway, and SR 924/Gratigny Parkway.
Drivers previously enrolled in the program in 2015, are automatically enrolled in 2016. Current members of the program can log into their accounts online to add or update transponders, change a mailing address or other contact information. Sign up today or log into an existing account by visiting www.mdxway.com/cashback.
