Fostering Solutions to Real-World Problems
Between listening to speakers from PropTech and real estate companies, teams of participants worked together on six challenges, AEC & Development, Brokerage, Cybersecurity, Geospatial Intelligence, Sustainable Maintenance and Operations and Open Hack. Six winning teams were awarded $2,500 in cash, prizes worth $20,000 and free office space for three months to refine their solutions to compete for an additional $15,000.
Presenters talked about innovations for everything from resident-to-building management reporting and improved metering to large-scale issues, such as energy efficiency.
