Rangam Consultants Inc. Wins Supplier of the Year Award at the 9th Annual Diversity Alliance for Science Conference
Rangam Consultants Inc., a professional services company, has won this impressive award for suppliers to the life sciences industry. The company has been rated as a top supplier, not only for its business success, but also for its diversity and corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives. It can't be a coincidence that Rangam is experiencing rapid growth.
Somerset, NJ, June 3, 2016 (Newswire.com) - At the 9th Annual East Coast Conference & EXPO Event organized by Diversity Alliance for Science (DA4S) in Newark, NJ, Rangam Consultants won the prestigious Supplier of the Year award for consistently delivering topnotch services to clients in the life sciences sector. The recognition comes on the heels of multiple awards this year, including the Best of Staffing Award for Client Satisfaction and the NJ SmartCEO Future 50 Awards. Rangam in Q4 last year became the #1 supplier at a major NJ-based pharmaceutical company by scoring a perfect “100 out of 100” points. Earlier in 2015, on two separate occasions, the firm was rated by a UK-based, multinational bio-pharmaceutical company as a top-performing supplier.
The list of attendees at the DA4S conference, which was held at Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel from May 16th-18th, featured many high-level representatives from the world’s leading pharmaceutical multinationals, including Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sanofi, AbbVie, Novartis, Pfizer, Merck & Co. and Eli Lilly, among others. The highlights of the 3-day conference were workshops, mentorship and networking programs, supplier-to-supplier roundtables, and keynote presentations.
Rangam Consultants was represented by Hetal Parikh, President and Co-founder, and Yudita Markovich, Business Development Manager. They thanked Diversity Alliance for Science for honoring Rangam while also showing appreciation for the wonderful platform they provide by connecting not only suppliers to buyers but also suppliers to suppliers.
“Rangam has been serving the life sciences industry for over a decade. Because of DA4S, we were able to grow from working with a few clients to establishing a life sciences practice at Rangam,” Yudita said triumphantly, emphasizing that building relationships with Supplier Diversity representatives from the corporations that attend the event is crucial to success.
“This award goes to team Rangam,” Hetal said. “The DA4S event helped Rangam procure new accounts and nearly double sales since 2011. This type of success supports Rangam’s efforts to strengthen our commitment to individuals with autism. Just a few weeks ago, we were able to hire two employees on the autism spectrum for one of our major pharmaceutical clients. Knowing that our work is generating a means of livelihood for those with special needs fills me with a profound sense of accomplishment,” she added.
Hetal has won and has led Rangam to winning several regional, national and international awards, including:
- 2016 Best of Staffing Client Satisfaction Award
- 2016 NJ SmartCEO Future 50 Awards
- 2015 Enterprising Women of the Year Award
- 2014 International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Award
- 2014 American Staffing Association’s Care Awards
