SAN FRANCISCO, March 27, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Raised Real, the subscription-based, nationwide baby food delivery service, has partnered with Second Harvest (Food Bank of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties) to help alleviate childhood food insecurity in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. Raised Real partnered with Second Harvest to donate 500 meal makers that steam and blend and 500 packets of organically sourced, nutrition dense Raised Real baby meals.
According to new data, almost 1 in 5 kids in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties faces food insecurity. In March, as part of their commitment to fresh, healthy meals that parents can make at home, Raised Real donated 500 machines that steam and blend food, accompanied by 500 meal packets of organically sourced, healthy ingredients. The meal packets can be pureed for babies or used as finger foods and sides for children that are beyond the puree stage.
