In the wake of Congress’s passage of the new Tax Bill, Spruce Environmental Technologies, Inc., parent company of RadonAway®, the world’s leading radon fan manufacturer, has joined the expanding list of U.S. corporations to announce current year successes and anticipated growth in the future.

Radon fans and accessories, testing devices, and related products, produced by Spruce RadonAway® and AccuStar® brands, are the indoor air quality product manufacturer and distributor’s primary focus.  Sales of radon-related products and services are predicted to experience continued growth due to regulatory actions and increasing public awareness of the risks of radon exposure in their homes, schools and workplaces.

Without the teamwork of our dedicated employees and their commitment to providing quality products and services, we would never have achieved this milestone.

Alan Zucchino, President, Spruce Environmental Technologies

Alan Zucchino, President of Spruce, announced yesterday that the company exceeded its annual goal for the tenth year in a row.  In his announcement Zucchino said, “Without the teamwork of our dedicated employees and their commitment to providing quality products and services, we would never have achieved this milestone.”

The new Tax Bill encourages corporate spending and growth, particularly when added to the year’s successes.  In this strong business environment, Spruce is poised to introduce several new products for the radon and construction industries.  In light of present and anticipated growth, the company, which already distributed annual holiday bonuses, has chosen to further reward employees with a second bonus.

An added stimulus will come during January, which is National Radon Action Month (NRAM). NRAM will kick off in Washington, D.C., during the first week of the month. Activities will include nonstop publicity about radon, a radioactive gas that is known to cause lung cancer and is the second leading cause of the disease after smoking.

During 2018, Spruce intends to continue to support nonprofit organizations that share the company’s commitment to preventing radon-induced lung cancer through awareness and action.   Among the organizations the company supports with donations, sponsorship of events, and active participation are the American Lung Association’s LungForce and Cancer Survivors Against Radon (CanSAR) and its new campaign, Women Against Radon (WAR).
