As far as team attitude goes, Victory offered that communication and collaboration are cornerstones. “There are no bad ideas,” he said. “Too often, people fail to listen to one another. They become quick to dismiss what someone else has to say. This becomes a breeding ground for mistrust. Associates need to feel free to share their ideas – it’s part of our culture. We don’t tolerate negativity from anyone. No matter how talented someone is, if others don’t feel as though he or she is supportive and listening to them, the person is just not the right mix for our team. We need a positive spirit that inspires.”

To facilitate this positive culture, Victory shared that the PSG Management team members frequently spend time in each other’s company. “We go to dinner quite a bit – at least once a week,” he said. “It helps us regroup and connect with one another in a more casual, less frenetic manner than when we’re in the office.”

In addition to the weekly dinner events, the team also participates in game nights, bowling marathons, and even an occasional road trip or conference. “We have ample opportunities to develop stronger relationships with one another, which fosters greater innovation and productivity.”
