Project 30 Builds Team Through Charity Event

Project 30’s CEO discussed a recent charity event that brought the firm’s associates closer and made a positive impact on the community. He also outlined the various benefits of team giving.

Giving to good causes has always been a key part of the Project 30 culture. The firm’s associates recently had a chance to support a remarkable charity that helps people step out of homelessness and become productive members of the community. “We were honored to help The Road Home with their uplifting mission,” stated the company’s CEO. “It was a wonderful opportunity, and we look forward to supporting the nonprofit again in the near future.”

"It was a wonderful opportunity, and we look forward to supporting the nonprofit again in the near future."

Project 30’s team members made sack lunches for the preschool-aged children staying in the shelters provided by The Road Home. The CEO explained, “Most of the children in the shelter go to area schools and receive free or reduced-price lunches, but there are also quite a few younger kids who aren’t in school yet. Our associates put together 70 lunches for these children, and I know they want to do it on a regular basis from now on.”

The Road Home provides a range of social services to homeless people in Salt Lake City and along the Wasatch front. Project 30’s leadership team is always looking for new ways to help those in need throughout the local community, and this generous nonprofit has quickly become a favorite outlet for the firm’s giveback pursuits.

Project 30’s CEO on the Many Benefits of Giving Back as a Team

There are many benefits to be gained from supporting good causes in the community. The CEO stated, “We love making a difference for those in need, but it’s impossible to overlook the commercial benefits of charitable efforts. Although the positive attention Project 30 receives from giving back isn’t our primary motivation, it’s a meaningful boost for our growth and overall reputation. Consumers love to support companies that have social awareness, and we show ours on a regular basis.”

Team members also grow closer as people when they come together to support a worthy cause. Project 30 associates learn more about each other’s unique talents and personality quirks when they collaborate away from the office. “Our people are so talented,” the CEO said. “When they fuse their talents to support nonprofits and make a difference in the community, they become even more skilled as collaborators. Projects back at the office always go more smoothly in the aftermath of a giveback event, and I can tell morale is stronger as well.”
