Princesses and Friends Return to Macy's Towne Center This Weekend Accepting Toys for Tots Donations

Saturday, December 10th 12pm - 5pm and Sunday, December 11th 1pm - 6pm

For nearly seven decades, the Marine Corps Reserves have not wavered in their commitment to America’s children and to the Toys for Tots annual campaign. Since launching the program in 1947, more than half a billion toys have been distributed to children in need, bringing with it “a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens." Not every community has Marine Reservists, however, making the organizations, businesses and volunteers a crucial part of the program’s success.

Macy’s at Towne Center will be hosting several lovely and smart princesses and brave superheroes this weekend who will personally accept new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. The two-day event will be located downstairs at the Towne Center Mall in Kennesaw, just outside the Macy’s Men’s store. Princesses and superheroes will be on hand Saturday, December 10th from 12pm to 5pm and Sunday, December 11th from 1pm to 6pm.

For the past three years, Stephanie Carter of Mystical Parties/Eastern Onion and her incredible staff have volunteered their time for this worthwhile project. Macy’s immediately stepped up for Carter and other sponsors in 2014, when Toys for Tots in Georgia was experiencing a deficit of 400,000 toys and have continued what has become an annual event.

“We can’t say enough about Macy’s who provides the space and set up for us to just step in and get to work,” says Carter. “The princesses and friends look forward to this. We see children daily in our work. Toys for Tots allows us to give back to the kids and that means everything to us.”

Carter is donating a Princess Party to one lucky winner that signs up to participate. Visit Mysticalparties.net online for more information.
