Join us for an optional black-tie gathering of community members for an evening of divine cuisine to honor Don and Carolyn Ahern.  Don is the owner of Ahern Rentals, which started in Las Vegas, NV by his father in 1953.  Carolyn Ahern is an accomplished author of children’s books.  Both have been strong supporters of children causes for decades. Positively Kids is excited to be honoring them for the Champion for Children Award.

The evening will begin with casual entertainment during a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a three-course chef inspired meal.  During the meal, attendees will be able to bid on some truly fabulous items available through a grand live auction featuring Jeffrey Manning, International Auctioneer; and participate in the Mission Moment by making a 100% tax-deductible donation that will benefit medically fragile children here in Southern Nevada.  The event will end with presentation of the Champion for Children award to Don and Carolyn Ahern.

All proceeds from the gala will benefit the Foundation for Positively Kids.  Positively Kids uses a Care Coordination approach to healthcare that includes a high risk newborn clinic, early intervention services, as well as medical daycare, skilled respite, home health, medical and dental clinics, and school based health centers.
