Poetry In Motion Dance Company Members To Perform With LXD At Dizzy Feet Gala
Online, July 27, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Poetry In Motion Dance Company dancers will be part of a featured performance with LXD, The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, at the Dizzy Feet Foundation, DFF, Gala "Celebration of Dance" at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles July 28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The event is presented by The Music Center and Ovation.

Celebration of Dance takes place most fittingly on National Dance Day and features fabulous performances by talent from American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, Dancing with the Stars, the LXD, Step Up Revolution, and many others. Additionally, there will be favorite performances from FOX's So You Think You Can Dance.
Poetry In Motion Dance Company is a non-competitive school and movement creation facility that merges high quality contemporary and classical styles with bold street dance, offering performance opportunities to dance professionals and students in an exciting environment of creative risk taking. Recent performances have included the International Jazz Festival in Poland, Choreographers Ball in Los Angeles, and the Stone Arch Bridge Festival in Minneapolis. Poetry will be performing locally in the Twin Cities at the Uptown Art Fair on August 3 at 4:15 p.m.
DFF was established by producer Nigel Lythgoe, director Adam Shankman and actor Katie Holmes, among other dedicated individuals, to support, improve and increase access to dance education in the U.S. Tickets for the performance only range from $34 to $125, with 50% of proceeds benefiting DFF.
