Planet Technology USA Introduces Single-Port Gigabit 95-Watt PoE++ Injector

CHINO, Calif., February 15, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Planet Technology USA (PLANET), a division of Versa Technology, supplying cost-effective last-mile PoE networking solutions, announces the release of its POE-171A-95 is a Single-Port, 802.3bt PoE++ Injector with a maximum of up to 95 watts of power output over Ethernet cables. Type 4, 95-Watt delivery capability ensures networks with legacy switches are able to support the newest breed of sophisticated IoT devices currently being released on the market. These devices include more developed, data-hungry versions of thin clients, digital signage, healthcare equipment, lighting systems, and point of sales equipment.

The IEEE 802.3bt, POE-171A-95 has a 1x RJ-45 STP Data In and 1x STP PoE Out. It requires 1x 52~56V DC input and operates at speeds of 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/5Gbps. The injector works equally well with both new and existing switches and has an optimal operating temperature range from 0 to 50°C (29 to 122°F). The injector comes with an AC to DC adapter and is TAA Compliant.

Backward compatible with both 802.3af/at PoE standards, the POE-171A-95 allows users to flexibly deploy standard and high-powered devices to transfer data and power simultaneously through one Ethernet cable for up to 100 meters. It reduces cables and eliminates the need for electrical outlets and reduces installation time. The POE-171A-95 supports remote installations of security IP cameras and wireless access points.
