Phillips Charitable Organizations Awards Grant to Oklahoma Veteran During Time of Need

US Veteran Megan Pinasco was awarded a grant to pay for medical treatment from the Phillips Charitable Organizations and Honoring the Path of the Warrior.

Phillips Charitable Organizations has awarded Megan Pinasco, a veteran from Bixby, OK, with a grant to help with medical bills and other bills that accrued following her divorce. Phillips Charitable Organizations is a series of micro-charities founded by businessman, Charles Phillips, that aims to provide timely assistance to single parents, wounded veterans, and students who show an interest in the field of engineering.

Megan Pinasco, a veteran who suffers from PTSD, was living in Oklahoma when she endured two traumatic occurrences. She was diagnosed with cancer and was dealing with a divorce that resulted in her losing a lot of property and money. Additionally, Pinasco was unable to get the full benefits she needed from the Veteran's Administration.

As a result, Pinasco contacted "Honoring the Path of the Warrior" who directed her to Phillips Charitable Organizations. After hearing her situation, Phillips Charitable Organizations generously awarded Pinasco with a grant to help her pay her medical bills and get back on her feet after her treatment.
Pinasco is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has since relocated to California to be with her mother as she begins a new chapter in her life with the help of Phillips Charitable Organizations.
