Phillips Charitable Organizations Helps Single Mother Avoid Eviction

Phillips Charitable Organizations has awarded Jenice Bailey with a grant to allow her and her family to stay in their home.

Phillips Charitable Organizations, founded by Infor CEO Charles Phillips, has helped a single mother in Dundalk, MD avoid eviction while she continues her education. Phillips Charitable Organizations aims to help single-parents who are struggling to make ends meet during tough economic times.

Jenice Bailey is a single-parent in Dundalk, MD to three children. While attending school to attain a degree in psychology, she had to take a second job in order to make ends meet. However, when she was unable to work overtime at her second job, she found herself falling behind on her bill payments. She found herself facing eviction as well as a suspension on her car insurance. Additionally, Bailey had recently lost her mother, which took a severe toll on Bailey's family.

However, after reaching out to Phillips Charitable Organizations, Bailey was awarded a grant to keep her family from getting evicted. Phillips Charitable Organizations hopes the grant offers an element of relief to the Bailey family as they are no longer living with the threat of having to vacate their residence.
