The Parrish FL Community - its residents and home owners share the joy and pride brought about by the success in building the new Rocky Bluff library, which is going to be officially launched. Its grand opening is set for Wednesday, November 16, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Then, it will be ready for the Manatee County dwellers and other library users to check out and utilize. The whole Manatee County along with the communities and neighborhoods in it, like Parrish FL, did one wonderful job in establishing this community-friendly building.

From looking at the building off a distance, one could easily tell the amount of labor going on inside and outside of the building, with the number of trucks parked in front of the new Rocky Bluff library. Also, there are a lot of indications that it is ready for its grand opening day this Wednesday. The shelving units are now in place, the new carpet has been installed, the check out desk is ready and presentable, and painting throughout the building has been done, and it was beautifully done. Some work was also being done as the library approached its grand opening date. These were the completion of the conference room and staff area, moving of the books from the old location to the new one, the latter being accomplished on the first week of November.

A new sign was put up outside the new Rocky Bluff building to keep the community informed of all the events taking place at the library. In addition to that, there's an area at the back of the library that was cleared so staff workers could go outside for break time and lunch hours. From there, they would get to see the beautiful view of the wetlands behind the building. Furthermore, the footbridge has been improved and the parking lot will be worked out on soon.

The newly beautified Rocky Bluff Library is still welcoming support as The friends of Rocky Bluff is still running a fund raising campaign that will finance further needs of the library approaching its grand opening date. The levels of giving are:
Diamond - $5,000
Platinum - $1000 to $4,999
Gold - $500 - $999
Silver - $200 - $499
Bronze - $100 - $199
