Ott's Restaurants-MDW Group Donates $35,000 to Virtua Foundation for Cancer Care
Personal Story and Local Ties Bind Restaurant Chain to Volunteer Efforts
Berlin, N.J., March 14, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Ott's Restaurants-MDW Group, presented a check for $35,000 to Virtua Foundation's Tyanna Barre O'Brien Breast Care Comfort fund, Wednesday, March 9.
Ott's raised the money at last year's October golf outing during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in support of patients undergoing breast cancer treatments at Virtua as well as promoting better health through education programs and providing basic necessities such as wigs, scarves and transportation.

During the past five years, Ott's Restaurants-MDW Group, has raised more than $125,000 at this annual golfing event held at the Ramblewood Country Club.
The Ott's-MDW Group chose this charity because Bob Wagner, a partner in the restaurant management group, experienced the impact of breast cancer when his wife, Michelle, was diagnosed with it.

The local connection to Virtua also had an impact on the three-chain restaurant sponsoring the golf outing to raise money as a benefactor for the foundation.
