Oquendo Center Offers FREE CE Course For Veterinary Professionals
Online, August 28, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The Oquendo Center of Las Vegas, NV will be offering a free course on the subject of Soft Tissue Surgery for the GP Veterinarian. The free course will be held on September 20th and taught by Don Waldron DVM, Dipl. ACVS. Professionals that are interested in enrolling in this amazing free course are encouraged to sign up soon as class sizes are limited and on a first come, first serve basis. This course is currently pending RACE approval for three hours of continuing education.
The course will cover the topics of Exploratory Celiotomy and will highlight exploratory surgery and its potentially usefulness as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool. Principles of exploratory celiotomy and specific biopsy techniques will be reviewed. Gastropexy techniques will also be discussed and illustrated during the course. Attendees will learn the advantages of this treatment technique, indications, and the surgical techniques during Dr.Waldon's lecture. Finally, the topic of Laryngeal Paralysis will be discussed.
