“This is one of the most well-received promotional campaigns from the Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB). Our past campaigns have reached more than 60 million people in the four previous contests. Due to its overwhelming success, we have decided to continue the campaign this year, with some former event participants expressing an interest in another opportunity to win the ultimate grand prize. The positive response is exactly why we anticipate this year’s contest to have an excellent response and leverage our promotional results during the implementation of the campaign, which showcases Croatia as a country with a rich and wide tourism offering to avid travelers and a destination where everyone can have their own interesting experiences,” stated CNTB’s Director Kristjan Stanicic.

The "Epic Week" campaign allows participants to create their ideal vacation via a specially designed website that includes 219 activities to build their own ultimate Croatian itinerary. Participants can choose from locations, sights, cities, gastronomic, and activities they would like to experience on an epic visit to Croatia. To enter, participants select their activities and share on social networks and encourage followers to like their selections. Participants can choose their bucket list or “Epic Week,” and the contestants who receive the highest number of votes, or likes, for their selection will be entered as a finalist and be contacted by the Croatian National Tourist Board, to submit an application within 5 days after receiving the e-mail, explaining why they indeed should win the trip. The winner will subsequently be selected by a Jury and will win their selected trip for them and a guest.

In addition to their own selected activities, the CNTB, as part of this ongoing campaign, will award an additional thematic day of rest and stay in one of the Croatian destinations to the selected program of winners. An additional thematic day will be tailored to the already selected experiences and may include, for example, rafting, kayaking, zip line, rock climbing, etc.
