NUC Sports Five Star has become the premier camp series for elite football players in the USA, measurements and skill evaluations that is sent to every college in the USA.

Programs like Alabama, Rutgers, Ohio State, USC, Florida State and Oregon has had a vast amount of players that were first recognized as a prospect at an NUC camp. Formerly known as the National Underclassmen Combines, The NUC has expanded into All Star Games, 7v7 camps, and showcases. Most notably the NUC All American Game that had two Heisman Trophy award winners, Marcus Mariota and Johnny Manziel. In fact, 3 of the last 4 Heisman Trophy winners were NUC Sports alumnae.

"Flat out Five Star is about finding the best football players in the USA and getting their evaluations in front of BCS and FCS coaches."

David Schuman, CEO, NUC Sports

"It was my plan to give athletes the forum to utilize their athletic ability in football to put themselves in a position to get a college degree," says David Schuman, CEO, NUC Sports.

There are over 10,000 alumnae that signed with Division 1 programs since its inception in 2005. The program started in New Jersey with 1 camp and 141 athletes has grown to over 20,000 athletes per year in over 40 states. Humble beginnings in 2005 were attended by current NFL stars Joe Haden and Tyrod Taylor.

The camps and combines were started by founder David Schuman, who got his start in football as a high school All American and starting linebacker at the University of Connecticut.

"Flat out Five Star is about finding the best football players in the USA and getting their evaluations in front of BCS and FCS coaches," says Schuman.

"There is no greater thrill then receiving an email or call from an athlete telling me they are getting a scholarship or that they have an opportunity that they might not have had before. My job is to give athletes the opportunity to show what they have and then to get that information to the college coaches!"
