Nortec is proud to be exhibiting the latest in data center humidification and evaporative cooling technology at the upcoming Data Center World Global Conference in Los Angeles, California (April 3-6, 2017). As a leader in the industry, Nortec is committed to delivering innovative solutions to improve performance and efficiency in data center infrastructure.

“The process of building and managing data centers has become increasingly complex over recent years,” said Duncan Curd, GM of Nortec. “With rapid and ever-evolving developments in technology, data centers require higher efficiency systems to meet growing performance demands.”

Proper indoor air quality is of particular importance for safe and efficient data center operations. Insufficient humidity levels can lead to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and a variety of other effects that can damage electrical components, affecting products, servers and network infrastructure.

For optimal functioning and performance, ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) recommends data centers maintain an indoor air quality range of 64.4°F (18°C) dry bulb temperature and 41.9°F (5.5°C) dew-point temperature to 80.6°F (27°C) dry-bulb temperature and a 41.9°F (5.5°C) dew-point temperature and an indoor relative humidity (RH) level between 25% to 45%. Nortec’s products are designed to meet these standards of indoor air quality and boost the efficiency of data centers’ overall operations.

“Proper indoor air quality is of particular importance for safe and efficient data center operations. Insufficient humidity levels can lead to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and a variety of other effects that can damage electrical components, affecting products, servers and network infrastructure,” said Duncan Curd. “Nortec’s humidification technologies provide data center and IT infrastructure professionals with custom, effective solutions for building and managing data centers. The implementation of an adiabatic system such as our ME ‘Media Evaporative’ System provides the added benefit of cooling. In fact, many geographies can take advantage of ‘free cooling’ in addition to humidification.”

Nortec is a leader in data center humidification technologies and improving operations efficiency. Nortec’s data center humidification technologies include the ME Series (Evaporative Media Humidification and Cooling), HP Series (High Pressure Humidification), DL Series (Hybrid Low Pressure and Media Evaporative Cooling & Humidification) and EL Series (Electrode Steam Humidification).

Visit Nortec at the Data Center World Global 2017 Conference, taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, April 3-6, 2017. Nortec will be exhibiting at booth 1403, showcasing the company’s latest data center humidification solutions.
