As a part of December's special events, NIST is planning to have a mixture of events where the target audience would be the school children, college goers and MNCs as they are all prone to have frequent meals outside home and mostly junk foods. This month dedicates a major theme be it on health scale or on food safety it is celebrated as "Hand washing Awareness Month" for the present lifestyle and eating habits this habit isessential.

NIST Creative team once again proves its excellence by creating an online blog"Capture your thoughts on food safety"open for all the students where it is a combination of blogging and photography, where the photograph can be from street food to star restaurants however the theme is the importance of food safety.
In addition to the above events, there will be a short film presentation on theme "Need for Hand washing in Food Safety" will be created and uploaded in YouTube and the most viewed video with intense information will be awarded special prizes.

NIST Food Safety Team in association with a distinguished Sanitizing manufacturing company will visit the neighboring schools, college's hotels and restaurant to give a demonstration of how to wash hands before and after handling food.
